Amazing Capabilities of the Human Ear

hyperacusis“Amazing Capabilities of the Human Ear” will be the featured presentation at a benefit dinner for Hyperacusis Research at the Marlboro Country Club at 6:30 PM on Friday, October 26, 2018.


Speakers include Heidi Nakajima, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Harvard Medical School and Bryan Pollard, President of Hyperacusis Research.

The presentations will include an informative overview of auditory mechanics and how to keep your ears healthy.  Patient stories will also be shared and a brief update on research for sound sensitivity will be given.  Hyperacusis is a hearing condition that causes a person to be unable to tolerate everyday noise levels without discomfort or pain.
