The book talk presented by Katherine Bouton, author of “Shouting Won’t Help: Why I — and 50 Million Other Americans — Can’t Hear You” was well attended at November’s chapter meeting. There were over 35 in attendance and there were many new faces. Katherine read from her book and reflected on how some of her feelings have changed and matured since she completed her writing. She answered questions from the audience and people enjoyed learning more about the experiences of hearing loss. Thank you Katherine, for presenting, and thank you to all who attended.
