HLA of Central Massachusetts is pleased to announce that Dr. Eva M. Bero has agreed to serve as the organziation’s Professional Advisor.
Eva M. Bero, AuD CCC-A is an Audiologist and the Clinical Coordinator of the Cochlear Implant Program at UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester, MA.
Dr. Bero received her clinical doctorate in Audiology (AuD) from Salus University. She obtained a Masters Degree in Audiology from the University at Buffalo and her undergraduate degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Rochester. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and certified by the American Speech/Language Hearing Association. She currently serves as a member of the MA Department of Professional Licensure Board for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
With over ten years of experience working with hearing technology of all varieties with both adult and pediatric patients Dr. Bero is dedicated to providing the highest standard of clinical care for all of her patients. She currently practices diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology with particular training and expertise in the area of cochlear implantation.
Dr. Bero has presented at numerous local and national forums on topics related to hearing technology. Her clinical and research interests include bilateral cochlear implants and use of assistive listening devices in conjunction with cochlear implant technology.
