Communication Therapy Program at Worcester State

Worcester State University’s Speech, Language, and Hearing
Center offers a Communication Therapy Program. For further information,

Purpose: To help individuals with hearing loss and their family
members or friends communicate better.
Participation: Adults with hearing loss, with or without hearing aids.
Content:
  • Information about normal hearing and hearing loss
  • The effect of hearing loss on lifestyle and relationships
  • Speec reading practice and listening strategies
  • Realistic expectations of hearing aids
  • Sharing problems and solutions with others
Format: Group meetings for individuals with hearing loss and
a family
Where: 486 Chandler Street, Worcester.
